Alien Race: Tyrans

Home world: Taourthi

Physical description:  between 6 to 9 ft tall anthropomorphic reptilians with two arms, two legs and tail. Minority of Tyrans posses a pair of wings, thus they are capable of flight. They posses 4 toes on leg and 6 on hands. Eye color: red, yellow and orange. Scale colors- black, red, green, white, yellow, blue.

Behavior:  Highly devoted to their religion, they take great offence towards mockery of insults against it. Due to their strong sense of justice they resent any kind of trickery used against them, however they are some individuals who prefer to use trickery to get what they want.

Language:  Draconic

Religion:  They believe in Ibafarshan and Sargt (which means Flame and Guardian in English). They believe that the twin sun in their star system (which is in fact a binary star system), the blue star is Sargt and the yellow star is Ibafarshan. Their religion is spread by svitrans, Tyran monks who has rare power they call arcaniss which allow them to cast spells of many kinds, as well as achive great speed and strength by tapping into it. The highest rank in Tyran religion is darastrix which can transform into might beast known to humans as a dragon. The darastrixis are known to handle diplomation missions as well as military operations.

Society:  Tyran society is divided in multiple classes, the top being the kapral (Emperor) and darastixis (who are in fact below the emperor, but can overrule his or her decision), below them they are schakri (nobles) and daron (knight), then the arytiss (warrior) and finally katima ( roughly translated into servant, however Tyrans use this to describe their citizens). When Tyran colonize new planet, or manage to convert new planet into their religion they grant those "aliens" the rank of katima, only they are a little below the Tyrans.

Technology:  The Tyrans posses none of space faring technology, however they posses several versions plasma weapons. Other than those they are relatively primitive race. It wasn't until after they were introduced to the Narmolians that they gained the ability to travel to distant planets by the means of the ship. Before that they relied on darastrix who is supported several svitrans arcaniss which fuel darastrix while its sepa searches the universe by looking at the stars for habitable planets. Once found the darastrix forms portal, thru which the Tyrans send their representatives. Ofter the "foothold" is established the portal becomes permanent as it is fueled at both ends.

Power type:  Other then arcaniss, the Tyrans use mineral called glibpox, which is several hundred if not thousand times more powerful then uranium in terms of power it provides, but unlike uranium it emits extrimly low radiation, thus making it safe and rather clean source of power. This mineral is used to power their plasma weapons and portals once it's established. After gaining starships by Narmolians they used the glibpox to power them.

Military:  Their military backbone is made out of tens of thousands of Tyran warriors armed with 3 different weapons (Plasma spear as their main weapon, stunner as their secondary and plasma arm blade as melee weapon) and protected by half plate armor, (designed to hold against 2 shots to the chest from their primary weapons) who are lead by their commanders represented by their cloaks.

Knights belong to their elite infantry units, armed with heavy plasma spear (which has two modes of fire, a fast rapid fire and a charge shot) stunners and plasma sword (both of which are stronger then warrior version) they are protected by full plate armor. The knight commander is shown its rank by the cloack it wears and the armor which can negate energy weapon fired at it.

They are all either lead by svitran and darastrix who use their arcaniss (or in darastrix case transformation) to aid their troops. Both svitran and darastrix are protected with leather robe and personally shield that they can rise with their arcaniss and are armed with staffs that will help them channel arcaniss for much grather effect. The dragon form of darastrix is naturally very dangerous, capable of decimating entire battalions of human tanks with its might and at the same time it's protected with both personal shields supplied by Narmolians as well as energy negating armor plantings. The downside of this is that they cannot access their arcaniss powers.

When Narmolians provided them with starship technology they begin to manufacture 2 types of ships.

The first one is a large starfighter/gunship hybrid. Armed with 4 plasma cannons as well as rapid firing side turrets (can be controlled by AI or by Tyran warriors), this fighter is ready to take on hostile air and space force. For ground battles these fighters are also equipped with 24 "standard" bombs as well as 2 microscopic gilbpox enhanced bombs. The standard bombs are capable of turning a area of 4 story building into dust, while the gilbpox enhanced bombs are capable of leveling entire town. The starfighter is also capable of dropping locator ring that allows darastrix or svitran onboard the mothership to instantly transport of Tyran infantry on the ground by the means of a portal. The thing that makes them dangerous is not their weapons and ability to indirectly transport troops, but their strong shield and energy negating armor plating. The drawback of these fighters is their maneuverability.

Second starship they produce is a massive mothership, capable of carrying 480 of starfighters and 14,000 of Tryan warriors. These massive ships are armed with one "super weapon" that is capable of destroying smaller ships and severely damage larger ships in single shot. In addition to this they are also armed with 3 Narmolian nanite guns which hit their target even at their top speed (and literally eat the ship hul, and creating escape pods for ship crew on which they survive until they are captured by Tyrans) and heavy plasma guns designed specifically to combat other capital ships. They are also equipped with 4 Narmolin AI control missiles which are effective against all targets, and thanks to frequency modulator they are able to bypass enemy shield once they are able to determine it. Their shield is one of toughest there is in the galaxy, thanks to gilbpox power supply. In the off chance that their shield fails, the mothership is also protected with heavy layer of energy negating armor plating. The biggest downside of this ship is their long production time and the cost of gilbpox needed to power it.

History: The history of Tyrans is mostly unknown, or dismissed as a fairy tales by the Terran historians. Tyrans claim that their "god" Ibafarshan saved them from destruction at least two times.

First time which was around 100.000 BC when massive meteorite was on collision course towards their home planet Taourthi which was destroyed by a solar flare coming from the yellow sun. This fact is largely believed to be a fairy tale, as solar flares this powerful haven't been jet seen or recorded.

The second time was when unknown fleet entered their solar system and begin orbital bombardment of Taourthi along with troop landings. This fleet was also eliminated by solar flare from Ibafarshan. Tyrans claim that this is how they gained their plasma weaponry. This "second assistance" in fact has evidence of happening. The Tyrans managed to recover one of crashed ships black boxes which show entire thing happening.

If there was a third time when their "gods" saved them, it was not jet recorded. This two appearance are among the most important things that happen to Tyrans. There is another thing that "supposable" happen to them, but this was diminished by all and there for it hold no significance.  Beside these "religion" stuff the important thing that happen to them was introduction to Narmolians (by Terrans) who provided them with technology and means of building interstellar starships.
