Chloe, Charlie, Kira, Sonya, and Diana had already arrived in New Jersey and were enjoying the sights of the state. Charlie was with Kira as both of them and their Digimon walk through the shopping plaza. "Come on Kira, Let's relax. I mean since we've arrived we haven't spotted any Digimon here and all is quiet. Besides, I think we should meet back up with the others; their having much more fun than us", Charlie said as Dorumon walk besides Renamon-X holding an Ice Cream cone as he lick away on his favorite Ice Cream, Chocolate Chip. "You know, I think I rather prefer Mr. and Mrs. Harris' Ice Cream than this. But Ice Cream is still a Ice Cream", he said as he return licking at his Ice Cream.
Meanwhile, Chloe and Hawkmon were with Diana and Sonya, walking down the historical district. "Wow, look at all of this. It must've look very beautiful way back then", Chloe said as Hawkmon study the structure. "I would say yes, but I think it would be rather difficult if one person build all of this", Hawkmon said as he walk besides the group.

In the Digital world, the Shadowy Figure had just learned about Divermon's defeat and the digidestines having the first earth elemental card. "THAT FOOL! I TOLD HIM TO FIND THE KEY CARD AND LOOK WHAT HAPPEN! Those brats got the key card first... but why should I worry about one card when there are plenty of others in their world... Now let's see", the figure said as it looks at a screen as it soon located another key card, this time in New Jersey. "Hm... I have a special plan for that area", the figure said and turn around to face the open area of the chamber. "BRING FORTH THE DEVIMON BROTHERS!!!"

Kira shrugs "fine" he says as he begins to walk with Charlie. Renamon-X looked at Dorumon and nodded but then looks around the area for any rouge digimon. Kira then takes out his cell phone to check the time "so where to?" Kira asked Charlie. In the digital world, a large black Devimon walked beside an Icedevimon and they both bowed before the shadowy figures "what are your orders masters?" Devimon said.

Sonya walks with Diana and Chloe as she looks with interest at all the buildings and landmarks. Lopmon laying on top of her head, almost looking like a hat as her long ears hang down on both sides of Sonya's face, Lopmon looking just as interested. "Wow, Laura is usually the one in to historical sites like these, but I'll admit this is pretty cool." Sonya says smiling. She then sighs out looking weary as her smile disappears and she rubs her forehead. "Speaking of cool, I sure could use something cold to drink right now. It's kind of hot."Lopmon looks down to Sonya concerned as Sonya glances up to her blinking. "What's with that look Lopmon? I just said it's kind of hot and a drink sounds good." She then looks to Chloe and Diana smiling again. "We should see if there's a shop nearby that sells nice cool sodas. I also would like to get Laura a souvenir too. She would have loved to see all this."
Diana looked at the architecture in front of her and nod "History is always interesting, but for me personally, I prefer ancient history, such as Greek and Egyptian, they simple had more interesting stuff to show" It was then that Kudamon head show up from her backpack and speaks "Then you would love to see ruins in digital world" Diana looked at Kudamon and then at Chloe and Sonya plus their partners "Err,...please don't freak out, Kudamon is my friend,...and well possibly my digital partner as well" Kudamon then moved out of her backpack and warp around Diana neck and nod "That's right, I'm not a rouge digimon, so I'm not a threat to you"

The Devimon brothers fly into the city both of them flying in tandem, likened to fighter jets in formation, yet making sure to stay out of sight from human sight, and the stop upon a building, not noticing that they had been followed through he portal and they growls "ID: I see them...the digidestined... D: I see them brother..Master told us to kill them."

Charlie chuckled as he look over to Kira and said, "let's get something to drink and look around the for a good spot for lunch." he smiled as he then lead Kira, Renamon-X, and Dorumon to a nearby General Store where there's a kitchen when they made fried dough and other snacks as well as cold drinks. "What do you want lads", he asked as Dorumon smiled and said, "Sprite please."

Chloe and Hawkmon look at Kudamon as they were surprise in seeing Diana's Digimon. "Then you're a Digidestined and your digimon look so cute", Chloe said as she went up to Diana and look at Kudamon gently petting it. Hawkmon study the digimon and asked, "but how did get your digimon Diana?" just then Hawkmon's stomach growled as he blushed and hold his stomach.

Just then, a Commandramon came up to the two Devimons and said, "Sir, what about the Key Card? We've try locating it, but we came up empty."

"I'll take a Mountain Dew Pitch Black" said Kira. "I'll just take a Pepsi" said Renamon-X. Kira then looked around the store. "Something wrong Kira?" Renamon-X asked. Kira shook his head and said "not at all".

Sonya and Lopmon also look surprised to see Kudamon appear. Sonya grins brightly though as she rushes over to get a closer look at Kudamon, Lopmon almost falling off her head as she wraps her long ears under Sonya's chin to keep from falling off. "No way, you have a partner too Diana? Wait, so then that means there are nine of us now." Sonya says happy at first then looks confused as she can't help but feel like something serious must be going on now. She looks a little worried as she thinks about Laura and the others. Laura is cut out of her worries as she hears Hawkmon's stomach growl and laughs, but then her stomach growls next as she stops looking embarrassed now. Lopmon giving her an amused smirk as Sonya laughs nervously. "Guess I'm hungry too."

"We'll I'm not sure if I am Digidestined, I mean I don't have a digivice of mine, just like Denis" said Diana and rub Kudamons head and answered Chloe question "I actually meet her in park just a day before we left for Jersey, she send me where and when will she appear, so I waited for her to appear." Kudamon then spoke "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm a Kudamon, a Vaccine attribute holy beast digimon, oh and my nickname is Bace which did made up by your alphabet letters 2,1,3 and 6, but I'm sure that wasn't interesting to you."

The Devimon brothers finally became impatient enough and the both flew down, heading after the groups of digidestined, with Icedevimon flying down towards Diana ready to slash at her with his claws, and Devimon flying down after Charlie and Kira, and Kitsune glares down at them silently          So...time to see their worth I suppose..."

Charlie nodded as he order the drinks as well as a Root Beer for himself as the clerk handed him the Ice cold drinks then paid the clerk after handed the drinks to his friends. "Well come on, I think we are suppose to meet the girls at the historical district", he said as he and Dorumon left the General Store sipping their drinks happily. Dorumon then thought he saw something and look over to the direction. "Huh, you guys see that", Dorumon asked as he return sipping at his drink
Chloe and Hawkmon heard something as they look up to see IceDevimon coming towards them. "WHAT THE! A Rogue Digimon", Chloe exclaimed as Hawkmon grab his feather ordainment. "FEATHER STRIKE" he then tosses the feather at IceDevimon which hits him in the face before returning the Hawkmon
Renamon-X looked over to the same area where Dorumon looked at and clenched her fists. "What's wrong Rena-" Kira then looked over and saw a large, slender black figure with large bat wings walking towards them. "A digimon, and a rouge one at that" Renamon-X said. Kira said nothing as he took out his D-Power.

Sonya turns to where Chloe yelled out as she looks surprised then glares. Lopmon leaping off her head as it goes towards IceDevimon after Hawkmon attacked it and spins as it smacks IceDevimon after with her ears to help stop its attack and send it back a little from Sonya and the others. Lopmon landing on the ground standing ready as Sonya pulls out her digivice. "That thing is called IceDevimon. Champion level and Virus attribute." Sonya says reading from her digivice then narrows her eyes lusciously at IceDevimon. "Somethings wrong. This guy isn't a regular rouge digimon, it came right at us. Like it knows who we are. Just like before we left the city with Musyamon."

Kudamon little ears twitch a little as she looked up and said "Uh-oh,...trouble" Diana looked up as well and shiver as she see IceDevimon flying down ready to slash at her. Kudamon thought to herself "IceDevimon hmm? I wonder..." then she launched herself from Diana Shoulders and right into IceDevimon and yelled "Blinding Ray", what follows was a blinding light from her earnings that blinded IceDevmon. Before IceDevmon could recover from the flash Bace was on its face where she furiously scratched and bite at it before landing down "Hey frosty, here I am if you can catch me snowy" with hat said she proceeded with a rude gesture to get IceDevimon attention and run off, hopefully IceDevimon will follow her.

"RAHH!! LITTLE RODENT!" Icedevimon easily took the bait and immediately flew after her, not caring in the least bit and Kitsune grumbles "Amateurs....falling straight into an easy trap...you can't be serious..." Devimon roars at the 2 of them and flew down immediately grabbing Renamon-x flinging her around in circles and smashes her hard into a building.

"WHOA! Dorumon you better help Renamon-X", Charlie said as Dorumon nodded as he ran up to Devimon. "METAL CANNON!" Dorumon shoots out an iron sphere to Devimon which hits him on the back of the head. "You want to go creep?!" Charlie examines the digimon the look over to Kira. "I guess it is appropriate since we're in New Jersey that he wants to put the term, 'New Jersey Devil', into content", Charlie said as he watch Dorumon jumps onto the back of Devimon and started to scratch the back of his head.

"Renamon!" shouted Kira as he ran over to check on her "are you okay?" he said in a concerned voice. Renamon-X groaned and Kira helped her up. "Kira lets take this guy down" said Renamon-X. Kira nodded in agreement and took out a card from his card holster. Renamon-X then leaped towards Devimon and landed a kick on his face that made him fly into a car. She then leaped into the air and crossed her arms "DIAMOND BURST!!" she yelled as she launched her attack which caused the car to explode and made him fly back and land on the ground. "KIRA NOW!" Renamon-X yelled. Kira then swiped a card "RAILGUN ACTIVATE!!" yelled Kira. Suddenly large cannon appeared on Renamon-X's left arm and she fired a large lightning ball at Devimon which blew his right arm off and electrified him in the process.
Sonya watches IceDevimon run after Bace as she starts to run after with Lopmon beside her. "Whoo, he's mad. But looks like Diana's new partner has a plan. Lets provide some backup." Sonya says grinning as she holds up her digivice as it beeps and Lopmon leaps in the air glowing. "Lopmon digivolve to--- Turuiemon!" Turuiemon leaps up on the buildings heading to the rooftops as she runs after Bace and IceDevimon. Keeping to the rooftops and out of sight but keeping IceDevimon and Bace in hers. Sonya following after as well.

Kudamon lead IceDevimon right into the city park. A rather roomy place "Perfect" thought Kudamon as she stand still in the middle of it, waiting for IceDevimon to arrive. "Come on come on Snowy,...its time you meet true warrior of ice"

Icedevimon growls as Kudamon makes fun of him but he stops as he enters, regaining his calm demeanor and he wastes no time and his wings start glowing "AVALANCHE CLAW!" countless ice spears erupt from his wings towards Kudamon, while Devimon slammed into the car as he's shot at again, hissing loudly in pain and he roars at the digidestined, rushing at Kira, grabbing him with his remaining arm and he smirks evilly "TOUCH OF EVIL!" He expels his evil energy onto Kira, harming him horrendously*
"Time to Digivolve Hawkmon", Chloe said as Hawkmon nodded. "Hawkmon digivolve to... AQUILAMON!" Chloe hop on Aquilamon then her digimon flew over to Sonya. "Need a lift Sonya", Chloe asked as Aquilamon flew in slowly for her to get on.

"Hold on Kira, METAL CANNON", Dorumon said as he fired a Iron Sphere at Devimon's hand then ran to catch Kira, but uses his entire body. "Well... at least I broke your fall..." Dorumon said as Charlie ran up to them. "You two alright", he asked as Dorumon got out from under Kira and nodded towards his partner.

"KIRA NO!!" Renamon-X yelled as she rushed over to Kira and held his head up "Kira... are you okay?" Renamon-X asked in a sad voice. Kira then grabbed a hold of her mane "R-Renamon... make that bastard pay" Kira said in an exhausted tone. Renamon-X nodded and became enraged that Devimon had hurt her partner. "Charlie, keep an eye on him for me" she said in a serious voice. She then began walking towards Devimon, and while she was walking, she was surround by a blinding light and Kira's digivice glow as well. "Renamon-X digivolve to... KYUBIMON-X!!" she yelled as she digivolve. "DEVIMON!! I WILL KILL YOU!!!" she yelled in an enraged voice. She spread out her tails "BLAZING FOX TAIL!!!" she yelled as she launched a barrage of fireballs at Devimon.

Sonya grins seeing Chloe appear on Aquilamon as she runs near them, although suddenly her vision seems to grow blurry as she stumbled for a second as suddenly she feels very hot for a second. She quickly shakes it off as she focuses back on Aquilamon and gets close enough that she leaps up on its back and climbs on behind Chloe. "Thanks for the lift." Sonya says smiling, trying to shake the feeling as suddenly she doesn't feel so well but her focus on IceDevimon making her put that feeling in the back of her mind. Turuiemon sees IceDevimon stop in the park and leaps up high in the air to get to it and Bace. When it sees IceDevimon unleash its attack she acts fast as she quickly falls down and brings her ninja claws forward. "Ninja Fist!!" Turuiemon's attack goes as her lightning fast punches hits every one of IceDevimons icicle spears and shatters in the air thanks to her claws providing for Bace to attack freely.

"Kudamon matrix evolve to...Kentaurosmon" in the place where Kudamon stand just moments before, now stood a six legged horse in red armor covering its entire body,, in one arm it had a shield, on the other it had a crossbow. The attack that IceDevimon send against Kentaurosmon, simply bounce off her red armor, which caused her to giggle and she spoke "Well,...who's the little rodent now?" as she said that she aimed her crossbow at IceDevimon and spoke "Inferno Frost" she then fires incandescent arrows of light from it which easily pierced IceDevimon body, which caused him to break into data, which Kentaurosmon in turn absorbed "Well,...so much for that digimon"

Icedevimon squealed in pain as he disappeared in data and Devimon growls out in harsh pain as the fireballs hit him, knocking him back always, and he growls slowly getting up"You...you won't get away with this..." he growls and slowly fly's towards Kyubimon-X trying to slash at her with his claws and Kitsune shuts his eyes"It's all over..."

Suddenly a charged Iron Sphere rip through Devimon's chest as behind him was Dorugamon, Dorumon's Champion form. "Now that's what I call a heart burn", Charlie said as he went over and help Kira up. Chloe wonder if Sonya was alright as they flew in to see IceDevimon being defeated by a rather large Digimon. "AH! What type of Digimon is that", Chloe asked as Aquilamon got a good look at him. "That's Kentaurosmon. But where is Kuda... I mean Bace", he asked as he flew in and landed next to Diana.
Kyubimon-X then leaped towards Devimon and began to spin violently "DRAGON PENDULUM!!" she yelled as a large blue flame dragon shot out and hit Devimon directly, igniting his entire body on fire. Kyubimo-X then landed and glared at Devimon burning from her attack and turned to data by Dorugamon's. "Burn in hell" she said in a angry tone before proceeding back to Kira. "Charlie... no puns" said Kira as he was helped up.

Turuiemon lands on the ground as it swings its claws back and looks towards Kentaurosmon as Aquilamon arrives with the others. Sonya sliding down off Aquilamon's back going towards Turuiemon as she walks slowly while looking at Kentaurosmon as well. "Turuiemon, wheres Bace?" Sonya asks as Turuiemon just motions with its head towards Kentaurosmon and Sonya blinks crossing her arms. "Wow, so Diana's partner can already digivolve to mega level? Nice." Sonya says smiling looking at the large digimon, but as she looks up she suddenly gets dizzy as she shakes her head and puts a hand on her forehead to try to stop it. Turuiemon notices this as she looks to Sonya concerned.

Kentaurosmon look down at Aquilamon and Turuiemon, then pointed her crossbow at them and spoke "I trust that I do not need to threaten you 4 to keep my ability to mega form a secret form Diana, don't I?" then she moved it away from them. "So if you tell this to her, I'll delete you both" She then dedigivolve back to Kudamon form, then still looking at Aquilamon and Turuiemon as she raced towards Diana, who just run onto the park and stooped as Bace jumped into her arms. "Bace, are you okay? Did you get hurt by IceDevimon?" Bace smiled and replied "NO of course not, IceDevimon attacks are ice based, something that we Kudamons thrive in, his attacks couldn't hurt me" Diana sighed in relief and then asked, slightly confused "Why did you lead IceDevimon away? Was it to protect us?" Bace nodded and started explaining it, leaving the Kentaurosmon out of it "I lead IceDevimon here cause I know that Aquilamon and Turuiemon would have easier time deleting that nasty snowman here than in limited area of we were in, also that way we didn't cause any damage to the historical buildings" Diana looked at the two "heroes" that saved her partner and bow down "thanks for saving Bace, I don't think I could ever repay you enough" Bace waved at them with her paws, but they could see it in her eyes that the warning she gave them before, was dead serious.

After the fighting finally ends Kitsune chuckles faintly "not bad...if inexperienced..."he sighs and jumps down using his claws to slow his decent as he falls

"Yeah yeah, tell the guy who nearly got killed by a devil", Charlie said as he picks him up and look over to Kyubimon-X and Dorugamon, who were approaching them to see if they are alright. Dorugamon look over to see Kitsune land as he was ready to fight. "Another one", he asked looking at the new digimon.
Chloe and Aquilamon nodded as they had promise to keep Bace's secrets under sealed lips.
"Charlie, shut up" Kira said in a hostile tone. Kyubimon-X walks up to Kira "Kira, are you okay?" she asks in a concerned voice. "Yeah, I'm fine" he says. Kyubimon-X then nods and says "good".

Sonya narrows her eyes upset at what Bace said, Turuiemon just looking towards Bace with a straight face. Turuiemon doesn't hardly talk at all so there's any worries from her, but Sonya doesn't look very happy with the threat or the fact Bace is basically lying to her partner. Whether or not in good intentions, Sonya sees that as not being trustworthy. She won't say anything of course, but that doesn't mean she's ok with it. All this seems to affect Sonya as she closes her eyes in pain, her face looking flustered as she stumbles forward a bit, Turuiemon seeing this as she looks concerned to her tamer and catches her before she falls over. Sonya shaking her head trying to get rid of the feeling again but groans as it doesn't go away this time. "Ugh, I don't feel so good Turuiemon. All this is giving me a headache."

Diana looked towards Sonya and asked "Hey,...what's wrong with you?" Bace too looked to their direction, quietly wonder to herself if she is responsible for her headache, but dismiss it cause she probably wouldn't be bale to help it anyways. Beside neither Turuiemon or Aquilamon aren't eh ones she is looking for, "perhaps some other chosen kids would be of use" thought Bace to herself
Kitsune observes Sonya curiously, wondering if the digimon that attacked them had affected her, though he knew that thought would be somewhat foolish "Hm...She needs rest. Time to recuperate. The battle must have taken a small toll on her."

Charlie just chuckled as he then helps Kira get over to where the others are. Dorugamon look over to Kyubimon-X and said, "Do you think that they might be sent by the so-called master?" he had a strange feeling that the Devimon's weren't regular Rogues.

Chloe look over to the digimon and said, "She does seem to be looking a bit under the weather." Aquilamon look at the new digimon and said, "Who are you and are you send to destroy us?"
"I have no clue, but if that happens, we'll be in big trouble" said Kira. Kyubimon-X nodded in agreement "anyway, we should meet up with the rest of the group" stated Kyubmon-X. Kira nodded and started to walk but staggered. Kyubimon-X rushed over "Kira, what's wrong?" said Kyubmon-X in a concerned voice. "I must still feel the grunt of Devimon's attack" said Kira. Kyubimon-X then lowered herself for Kira to get on her back. Kira wasted no time by getting on "thanks Kyubimon" he said. Kyubimon-X nodded and started to walk down the street.

Sonya looks a little annoyed at Bace as she leans on Turuiemon for help. "I'm fine. I've just been thinking about a lot of stuff lately. Guess it's starting to get to me since there are a lot of unanswered questions." Sonya says to everyone then looks down while saying quietly, "Not to mention all the secrets between us. I'm starting to doubt again if we can really be a team." Turuiemon gives Sonya a concerned look but keeps her upright. "I'll be fine after a little rest. But just as Aquilamon said," Sonya starts as she glances over to Kitsune, "Who are you?"

Bace simply rest on Diana shoulders, giving no real thoughts to Sonyas hints about "secrets". After all she does plan to tell Diana the truth eventually,...but she didnt really want to end her hopes of being a digidestened by telling her that she is not her partner, still hard decisions lie ahead of her and Diana, that was for sure. She did however raise her head and looked at Kitsune and thought "Ah...this guy,....I wonder"

"I am Kitsune...An emissary from the royal dragons. It seems youv already met the dark council's minions..."

Chloe and Aquilamon look at each other then look at Kitsune. "Wait so you know about what's going on", Chloe asked as she look at Kitsune wondering what was he talking about as well as Aquilamon.
Just then Charlie, Kira, and their Digimon came in and notice Kitsune. "Hey, who's the new digimon", Charlie asked as Aquilamon told them Kitsune's name.
Kira looks over at the digimon "I have no clue, but he could be another enemy" said Kira. Kyubimon-X then walked over to the group "what's going on here? And who in the world is that?" Kyubimon-X asked Chloe.

Turuiemon narrows its eyes suspiciously at Kitsune when it spoke about the royal dragons and dark council. Sonya looking confused, still appearing weary but focused enough to show she's listening intently. "Emisarry of the royal dragons? Dark council minions? You mean to tell us these digimon we've been fighting lately have been sent by someone? This....Dark Council?"
He nods "Thats precisely correct. The Dark Council wants you digidestined dead, and so far they've failed miserabley...though, I wouldnt call their failures so much a failure, as much as luck on your part..."

Bace chose to be silent, as she was aware of both Dark Council and so called "Royal dragons", she chose to be silent so that she doesn't accidently reveal anything. Diana however asked a question. "Since it's a council,...how many members does it have and who are they?"
"Wait, your saying that this Dark Council, what us dead? But why? We haven't really done anything to get their attention", Chloe asked looking concern as Aquilamon de-digivolve back to Hawkmon. Hawkmon look to Kitsune then said, "But wait, what do you mean the royal dragons?"
Charlie nodded as well, he was wondering if something likes this happen to Mark, Denis, and Laura in Connecticut as well. "So why are you here lad? To deliver the message about this Dark Council", he asked looking confused.

Both Kira and Kyubimon-X kept both of their eyes on Kitsune "I knew there was something weird about the digimon we fought before, they were enhanced by the Dark Council" said Kira in a surprised voice. "I believe you're right Kira, but as for you, what "Four Dragons" are you talking about? Unless... the four great dragons" Kyubmon-X said in a shocked tone.

Sonya looks both upset and concerned as she doesn't like the sound of this. The dark council wanting to kill them even though they haven't done anything but stop rouge digimon that cross over to their world. "Unless there's a deeper meaning, they're trying to stop us before we do something they don't want." Sonya says to herself as she remembers Musyamon's message when he attacked. She glances up to Turuiemon, who appears tense as she glares at Kitsune still suspicious, but Sonya can tell Turuiemon seems to know what Kitsune is talking about.

He shakes his head lightly "I know not how many members of the council there are....even I have been told little of it to a point. All I know is, that you digidestined are a thorn in their side. I've been sent here to train you all, and to help you all in the coming battles against them."
Bace looked up in the sky, as if hoping for something to appear, but nothing has, so for now she only focused on the conversation in front of her, which did kind of tired her out so she slowly closed her eyes just to rest them, when something woke her up. That something was Diana mobile phone "Now who could that be?" said Diana as she reaches for it and answered, on the other side was Denis, who called in to check on her as well as to tell the news about Flamedramon, Wolfmon and the attack they faced. "Hey, I think you may want to hear this« with that said she put it on speakers and have Denis repeat the story.
